White Cherries | Store unwashed cherries in the refrigerator as soon as possible, ideally in a breathable container or a paper bag. Avoid plastic bags to reduce moisture accumulation, which can make them spoil faster | Enjoy whole, remove stem and pit if desired. | |
Cherimoya | If the cherimoya is firm, keep it at room temperature until it softens. Once ripe, store cherimoyas in the refrigerator to slow further ripening. They’ll keep for 2-3 days when refrigerated. | A ripe cherimoya should yield slightly to gentle pressure, similar to an avocado. If it’s still firm, allow it to ripen at room temperature for a few days. Wash the fruit, then cut it in half. Scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Avoid eating the black seeds. | |
Rambutan | Unpeeled rambutans can be kept at room temperature for 2-3 days if they’re to be eaten soon. To extend freshness, store unpeeled rambutans in the refrigerator in a breathable container. They’ll stay fresh for about a week | Gently cut or peel the skin around the middle of the fruit without cutting into the flesh. Twist and pull apart the two halves of the skin to reveal the translucent flesh. The edible flesh surrounds a central seed, which is not eaten. | |
Cara Cara Navel Orange | Keep at room temperature for about a week if you plan to eat them soon. To keep them fresh longer, store them in the refrigerator. Clementines | Last up to a week on the counter, ideally in a cool, dry place. For longer storage, keep them in the refrigerator where they’ll stay fresh for up to 2-3 weeks.
